Adrian O’Rourke

MANUAL PHYSIO, REHAB PHYSIO
Adrian is a passionate, professional, and caring physiotherapist who graduated with a BSc Physiotherapy from Teesside University in 2015. He is registered with The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and CORU.

Since graduating, Adrian has worked in both the NHS and private sector, specialising in acute and chronic musculo-skeletal conditions and sports injuries. In his role as a physiotherapist with the Football Association he has worked with elite female footballers on a national development programme.  Adrian combines manual therapy with exercise prescription, education and self-management techniques to help people achieve their goals.

Adrian is a keen runner and understands the frustrations that injuries can create. As someone who participates in regular exercise, he appreciates the importance of getting people back to full health as soon as possible, so they can re-engage with their passion. Adrian has completed both the Hamburg and Edinburgh marathons alongside multiple half marathons, so he empathises with the challenges faced by the distance runner. On a day off you will find him hiking any number of peaks in the surrounding area.
